For patients with nail fungus, the Dr had the cna's wash the patients feet then clip the top (not just the end) off the nail thinning it out as much as possible then rubbing vicks into the nail. It takes time but it works. Mentholatum works too but is not as strong as vicks. The Dr explained that toenails are porous and that is why this will work.
